Your Facilitator - Nishah

Experience & Approach

Nishah's experience of facilitating groups spans 25 years, and includes the NHS, Educational settings and Charity sector. Her approach combines theories of Moreno (psycho-drama), Yalom (existential-interpersonal), Foulkes & Bion (analytic) and Gestalt (trained in part with Joseph Zinker).

"I love 1-1, but also love the power of groups, light-hearted yet deep, with doses of humour. You don't leave the same person and I truly believe 'you get the group you need' - via synchronistic formation." (image: teaching 2007)

Defining Therapeutic Groups

Group Therapy is a powerful, evidence-based form of therapy that brings together individuals facing similar emotional or psychological challenges, guided by a professional in a confidential space.

360 Degree Benefit

It offers unique therapeutic benefits that cannot be replicated within one-to-one therapy. Rather than a single therapeutic viewpoint, groups allow real-time practice and a live relational environment where patterns around communication, boundaries, emotions and attachment naturally emerge for resolution - with professional guidance.
