Are Groups as Effective as Individual Therapy?

Group therapy is a robust, evidence-based treatment supported by decades of clinical research, that shows it's as effective as individual therapy for most mental health conditions.

Groups are great for people who:

  • Learn through ACTION & DOING - live relational learning
  • Prefer short-term commitment or have a  financial budget
  • Enjoy learning through listening-observing, reflecting and discussing
  • Want to explore patterns in relationships, emotions, or behaviour
  • Wish to deepen or complement individual therapy work done.
