Entrepreneur: Third Eye

by | 15th June 2018

Why do we need a Third Eye in business? Think of the times when you let go of a business idea and allowed yourself to consider a different tangent, an angle you had not anticipated, previously refrained from or simply refused to entertain! As a result, you find yourself growing in a new area, directed to a new career path, and in addition this new path allows more material success than the previous idea. This is allowing the third eye to do its work. If you work ‘with’ the third eye you will find yourself in alignment with your ‘purpose’, even when the purpose is not at first obvious!

The third eye is not restricted to Spiritual people or Psychics, but can be developed into a useful business tool, allowing one to tap into limitless knowledge from deep within the self and from higher wisdom unconstrained by the limitations of human thinking. Depending on what you believe in, this could be your higher wiser self, the universe, consciousness, or a deity. Great business people tap into this automatically: they openly go into directions that are meant to be.

The third eye is the inner voice within us that has all the answers to our questions. All we have to do is train ourselves to listen to this quiet voice within. Most of the time we are not listening because we are too busy, distracted or unaware. The more we make space to listen, via reflection, peace and quiet, nature etc, the more we acquire moments of synchronicity, critical moments, eureka moments, aha moments, all of which are points of change. This is working with Emotional Intelligence.

Third Eye Symptoms

Generally, if going through third eye struggles, we might experience headaches, eye sight issues and mental disturbances that manifest into bad dreams and difficulty in assimilating information. There is an internal struggle to balance the ‘known’ world with the ‘intuitive’ world, it’s like trying to balance the rational left brain with the creative right brain, intellect often overrides intuition, so intuition tries to push through the intellectual blocks, hence headaches, eyes sight problems, assimilation difficulties etc. Physically, I have noticed that people with well-developed third eyes often have some kind of birth mark on or around this area.

When we are too rational, intellectual and logical the third eye is spinning too fast. This can turn into arrogance and authoritarianism where someone is too rigid and dogmatic, there is no space for the inner voice to be heard. Slowing down is the remedy, becoming reflective, re-thinking and pondering things before taking action, having space and moments of quiet so that the whispers of the third eye can be heard. By the way, the inner voice is always right. We just fight against it because we can’t make sense of it so disagree, don’t believe it, or simply don’t notice it.

When the third eye is sluggish or slow, this can manifest’s as laziness with the inability to be structured and disciplined. One struggles to set the right level goals, aiming too high or too low – not able to ‘see’ how to set one’s sights appropriately and within reason. The remedy is to create Discipline and Routine however one can, in whatever way works best: get an accountability buddy, create a structure, introduce discipline, plan and set realistic goals, get mentors, pay staff to do certain things etc.  Interestingly, I’ve noticed that top business people, and top psychics are extremely disciplined and have developed a strict routine that works for them.

‘The Third Eye Loves Discipline’

A person with a balanced third eye is of course highly intuitive, but this intuition is in balance: not over used, and not ignored. They are often not concerned with material things as much as someone else with their success might be. The material world is kept in balance. These people trust that the answers to life’s problems will always be revealed, they know when and how to wait, connect, and access these insights. This is because they are in touch with the wisdom of the third eye. They know WHEN to ‘get themselves out of the way’ – stop, work with rhythm; they know HOW to get themselves out of the way – reflect, meditate etc; and they know how to LISTEN to their intuition – recognise messages, insights, answers and information. Once you do all this, you will instinctively know which route to follow, without your mind getting in the way. It’s the same when working with the energy of money, have you noticed that when try too hard it doesn’t flow, and when you relax and don’t try and control it, it flows in. Don’t expect it to come from the same sources (you never know where it will come from) and be open to it coming from new and unexpected sources. There is a dance between attachment and non-attachment where one is regularly getting oneself out of the way.

‘To identify your true path, follow it and stay on it, you have to master getting yourself out of the way.’

Developing the Third Eye

Entrepreneur Alignment clears third eye issues from the body: experiences that are still held within the body. These are typically times when a person went against their true feelings and inner wisdom and got hurt; times when the true self was ridiculed or shamed; times when not allowed to use one’s own wise initiative and had to concede or abide by rules; and experiences of having excruciating limitations that resulted in feelings of painful isolation.

THREE STEPS TO DEVELOP YOUR THIRD EYE:

Step 1: Connect with your inner voice

Create space in your routine for quiet time, peaceful time, reflection time. Cut Out the Noise! Only then is it worth listening to the ideas, answers, images that arise. Put questions out there and be open to things that don’t make sense. Consider them anyway. You need to create a ‘fertile void’ to get the answers.

Step 2: Let go of logical constraints

If you are the sort of person to think too much: analyse, rationalise, intellectualise, then do creative activities – anything; or do repetitive, mundane tasks that do not require thinking. Sometimes this is as simple as going out in nature, find a way to get yourself out of your head.

Step 3: Develop own style of meditation

People think meditation is trying to think of nothing, no it isn’t. It is simply putting your awareness onto something. It could be anything, your body, your breathe, your commute to work (a good one), music, an object, word etc. Do what works for you and ANY amount of meditation time is acceptable.
